Timber milling
Our mobile saw mill runs on a pair of 4 metre tracks that can be extended to 6, 8 or 10m long (with more extensions available), this means that we are able to create planks or boards from the tallest of trees up to 1.5m diameter. The design is ingenious and allows the whole unit to be dismantled and transported through a passage approx. 1m wide. This means that even back garden fells can yield quality timber that would otherwise be logged. The machine uses a circular saw to cut boards up to 8” by 16” and has a weatherboard attachment for making fencing or shed panels. It also runs a 1.5m saw bar with ripping chain to create naturally edged/wavy planks. We can leave you with the required wooden materials or we could take it one step further and make furniture (like a table as a little memory of the tree).
Hydraulic splitter
This
runs off a mobile generator and can be transported through most gardens, no matter how tricky the obstacles. It generates 30 ton of splitting force, leaving you with split cord lengths or logs split and cut to size.
